Project                  : ‘SCM Rapid data mart with SAP HANA Database’

This project is a part of the implementation of SAP HANA in-memory Database in the customer’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) area. Rapid Marts in the SCM area covers Inventory, Production Planning, Quality Management and Warehouse Management modules. The current SCM Rapid Data Marts architecture includes extracting data from the SAP and loading into functional data store and development/ customization of Business Objects Universes and Reports. 

The customer has requested to provide a robust mechanism to take care of the development and support of the data services for SCM Rapid Data Mart with SAP HANA in-memory Database in order to improve the performance.

Responsibilities:  

·   As part of the SAP team, worked in the design, development, testing and deployment aspects of the SAP HANA for this project.

·   Created schemas and data provisioned by using BODS Replication Server.

·   Worked on Customization of the SAP SCM Rapid Marts on the SAP HANA Database

·   Worked on all the technical data modeling artifacts; creation of Attribute Views, Analytic Views, and Calculation Views (graphical and scripted).

·   Created master data objects as Attribute views, joined multiple master tables when necessary, selected key figures and attributes to give context to the master data.

·   Worked on SAP HANA SQL scripting in the development of few scripted based calculation view models.

·   Worked closely with the ETL (Data services) team in formulating the source to destination mapping logic and in addressing the data provisioning challenges faced due to a highly heterogeneous nature of the data being sourced from multiple SAP and non-SAP source systems (Oracle) into the SAP HANA database.

DOTS, is a California application, is used to order & manage the distribution of Durable Medical equipment (DME) to Kaiser Permanente members across the NCAL & SCAL regions. Business Requests DME DOTS to comply with the federal health care standard to make transition of ICD 9 diagnosis set to the new diagnosis set ICD 10. Modifications to the existing system will focus primarily on updating the system that would enable users to enter in, store, search, and to report and send/receive ICD 10 in the same capacity as it operates for ICD 9.

Responsibilities:

·   Interacted with users to know their business views while gathering the report requirements and provided several report mock-ups to finalize the requirements.

·   Created Technical Specification requirements (use cases, interface specifications) by translating business requirements.

PwC is the world’s second largest professional services network of firms in 157 countries and it is one of the big four auditors list: it has mainly 3 major Line of Services: 1) Tax & Auditing, 2) IFRS (Internal Financial & Reporting Services) & 3) Assurance Services.

Operational Risk Reporting tool, this project involves in development of universe from Oracle Database for the Operational Risk Reporting purpose to Create Web Intelligence Reports for the end users. It also includes populating data into the enterprise staging area (Oracle) from SQL Server source tables using Data Stage (ETL). 

Responsibilities:

·   Interacted with Business Users and Managers in gathering business requirements. 

·   The project involved in the development of reports using Business Objects Web Intelligence to cater Ad-hoc reporting needs.

The BlackBerry Infrastructure Network is made up of several large, key applications which are written in a variety of languages on a variety of platforms. The goal of the APM –Application Performance Monitoring initiative is to roll out a common monitoring framework for these pieces of software which is scalable and usable, and minimizes the need to learn different mechanisms for monitoring different services.

The APM platform uses Ca WilyIntroscope, which collects and interprets metrics collected from the service infrastructure. However, Wily only has native support for Java based applications, and thus any metrics provided by non-Java sources needs another collection mechanism. The goal of this solution is to be that collector; to collect metrics from non-Java sources, and transport them to the APM solution in a scalable and preferment fashion to generate reports by using SAP BO Webi reports.

Responsibilities:
